However, at the court one afternoon, he and his friends are challenged by a group of older kids. As he collects a long pass from a friend, he takes a little too long to think of what to do, and the ball is stolen by the other side. As he sees the ball crash through the hoop at the end of the court, his heart sinks. Amid laughter, he walks home alone, his confidence shattered. Through an adventure with NiGHTS he regains his confidence and beats the older kids at their own game.
