If love is such a good thing,
Then why does love hurt so much?
I wait forever to find someone,
All full of hopes, wishes, prayers and such.

When someone finally shows,
I�m filled with passion and joy.
Then that someone betrays me,
And throws out my heart like a toy.

I�m left all alone again,
Laying listless on the floor.
Reliving every event that ever happened,
Harsh words, anger, tears, and much, much more.

When will I know love?
True love, like in storybooks.
A love that will last forever,
Based on feelings rather than looks?

Will I kow such a love?
One eternal, that will never die,
A lot of times, I think I won�t,
Since it always makes me cry.

To be truly happy, I need true love,
To give it, and have it took.
If I can�t have it here,
Then I guess I�ll write my own storybook!
