Our Photos of the Jet Boats at the Rapids

This jet boat is headed up river in order to double back, at full speed, to challenge the raging rapids. Here, a crewman walks to the bow to tell the passengers what is about to happen. This boat is practically empty; our boat the day before was nearly filled to capacity.

Now, the boat is beginning its journey upstream, through one of the rapids, heading to the turn-around point in the river.

The boat has turned around and has begun its wild and wet run.

After the first run through the rapids, the boat turns around and goes upriver to repeat. There are 3 runs - each one getting wetter as the helmsman changes the angle into the waves to get maximum splash over the boat.
