Joseph P. Kerwin
Joseph Kerwin was selected as an astronaut in NASA's fourth class (1965).  His only space flight came in 1973 when he flew on the epic repair mission of Skylab 2.  This was America's first space station mission and the crew were forced to make several critical repairs to the station in order to make it workable.  These repairs were successiful and probably saved the Skylab program.  They also broke a Soviet space flight endurance record.  Kerwin retired from NASA in 1987 having spent 28 days in space.

My Collection: This is an autographed and inscribed Skylab cover.
