| Mario Runco, Jr. | ||||||||
| Mario Runco was selected as an astronaut in NASA's twelfth class (1987). He has flown into space on three occassions. His first mission assignment came in 1991 when he served as a mission specialist for the STS-44 shuttle flight. In 1993 he flew as a mission specialist on STS-54. Most recently, he flew as a mission specialist onboard STS-77 which flew in 1996. He has logged just under 23 days in space.
