Welcome to the Saline Carvers page. The Saline Carvers are a group that meet in a open carve format at the Saline Senior Center. We meet every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm.The center is located at 7190 North Maple Rd. in back of the middle school near the tennis courts. This is a very nice facility and we do everything we can to meet the needs of the carvers. The carvers are a great bunch and will do all they can to assist or answer any of your carving questions. Our members range from 84 to 10 years old.Another activity we do is hold a yearly swap meeting where we trade and sell any extra carving accessory's we have.Remember you do not have to be a member to attend!

A contribution we make to the local carving community is the Saline Carving Show. This years show was a great success. What makes our show unique is that we let the people be the judge in our carving competition. This years Peoples Choice winners were 1st place John Karalunas - 2nd place Bob Polley - 3rd place winner Bob Russell.A high lite from the 2008 show was local carver Bob Maloca being presented an award of recognition for the contributions he has made to the local carving scene over the years by C.C.A. member Floyd Rhadigan. We hope you will attend next years show.Watch this page for info as soon as it's available.Scroll down to see past years winners.
