Welcome to the Shadbush Wood Carvers page.The Shadbush Wood Carvers are a group that meet in a open carve format at the Burgess Shadbush Nature Center.We meet every Thursday from 6pm to 9pm.The center is located at 4101 River Bends Dr.Shelby Twp,Mi. 48317(Ryan and Hamill,aprox 21 1/2 mile).This is a very nice facility and they do everything they can to meet the needs of the carvers.

One event we do in the fall at the center is the Fall Festival and Craft Show.We demonstrate carving for the folks who attend and answer any questions they may have.This years festival will be held on Sept.20&21st.You can scroll down to see pictures of us from past shows.

We like to display our carvings in a public venue when possible to help promote carving.Most recently we displayed our carvings at the Romeo Public Library.If you are interested in having us display our carvings or a carving demo please contact me at the Email link below.

The carvers are a great bunch and will do all they can to assist or answer any of your carving questions or if you are just looking for some carvers to sit and make chips with!
