"Pan-Africanism must workout the most radical ways of ending foreign
domination in Africa, destroy the foundation of colonialism, neo-colonialism and settler colonialism,
organize
and give further impetus to the process of the unification of African States."
The Masses of Guinean people said "NO" to French colonialism and the idea of remaining a part the French colonial group of African nations. They embarked upon a path of genuine independence and self – determination. The
people of Guinea selected Ahmed Seku Ture as their representative and leader. Guinea, under Ture, made great strides to restore a
flourishing
Revolutionary Pan-African culture to its people and African people world – wide. Gains were made in education, agriculture, health and the role of women. Under Seku Ture the people of Guinea attempted to create,
consolidate, defend the instruments and organs of power, define the nature of power and the class interests it expressed and impels. This was particularly needed to combat against the internal intrigues of neo-colonialist sabotage. Like Ghana under Nkrumah, Guinea too became a haven for Pan-Africanism and Pan-Africanist from around the world.
