I guess I'm writing this because I don't really know what else to do right now. Nevertheless, I figured here would be a good place to explain my website to everyone, since, I realize, the chaotic ramblings of my discursive mind really wouldn't make sense to someone without the proper training (;)!).
Here, first of all, is a history of this website, for those of you who are genuinely interested.
PAST...
At first, this website was about Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, the Japanese anime. Being the relatively obsessive person I am, I decided to update everything I knew about the series. I was pretty proud of what I had done, but I soon realized a sad fact: I didn't have enough access to the Japanese episodes, enough time, or enough of a fan base to maintain my website. Instead, I decided, I would start over with a topic I knew well - and one that would be unique, but useful. What better than violin? I had always had a difficult idea finding fingerings for particular scales, even on google, and my idea swelled to become this (incomplete) site.
PRESENT...
"The Silver Violin" is now an online "cafe" (I'll try and expand upon that theme after I expand upon my HTML knowledge!) providing information on general music theory, links to other information websites, and a showcase - both humorous and historical - about the violin, my dominant instrument. It also showcases a few things I've attempted to create, such as some compositions. (Hey - I'm just doing it for fun...don't expect much...!)
In addition, this site links to a website about (the wrong version of) my novel-in-progress, illustrated by my phenomenal friend.
FUTURE...
In the future, all of the unfinished links below will, hopefully, be finished. If you have any more suggestions, feel free to e-mail me ([email protected]). Thanks a lot!
A Swift and Subtle Light. This doesn't really have anything to do with violin, but I did make a website about the book I'm writing a long time ago. If you visit it, you have to be careful, though - the site has a very low information trasmission tolerance, and clicking on too many of my graphically-loaded links will mean you can't access my webpage again for another hour - so click wisely ;-). Also note that this is the immature version of the third version of my novel. I have recently begun to write the fourth version, which is far superior and much more complex than the original three. You can still view my site, but be warned - the book's archaic now.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my website cafe, "The Silver Violin."
Yes, this website was formerly the "Light of Andromeda." However, for various reasons, I have changed it. Now, this site deals entirely with all things violin!
What will this site eventually encompass? It will give reasons why violin is a great instrument which everyone should appreciate. There will be a history of violin, violin fingerings...even a violin gallery! Also, there will be various information on music in general, as well as certain special song clips and more!
Right now, it might seem like a lot is "coming soon." Sorry! I just started this website. Be patient, and please enjoy the pages that ARE up...all of the Appetizers, most of the Main Courses, the Downloadable Music section and Pizzicato Popcorn!
