Some of the background
information about the
Silver Millennium was
filled in by me and
may not be 100%
accurate. I put this
narrative together
from the various manga
volumes, which are the
best and official source.

Deep in the heart of Earth was a land of dreams...a land of illusion...a land called Elysion. This pillar of Earth's glory, protected by the awesome power of the Sun, guarded Earth and it's people from within. It's priest, Elios was the personal guardian of Earth's prince, Endymion and along with two maenads, also served the shrine of Elysion. The prince and his four generals would occasionally visit the surface to protect it and help maintain order. It was forbidden for those born of Earth to meet with those of the Moon.

Over the years, Princess Serenity grew into a beautiful young woman. Even though the winds and scents of the Moon gave a feeling of majesty to all its inhabitants, the princess longed for the ocean breezes and summer winds of Earth. It was there that she met her prince. Two stars were forever bound together in a forbidden love.

One year, the Sun's fiery activity was too much. That abnormal sun created a terrible creature. That demoness saw the huge power contained within the Mystical Silver Crystal. Seeking to take over Earth for itself, it crept to the blue star without the notice of the Moon Queen. It called itself Metallia. On Earth, it took advantage of humans and manipulated their thinking. One of whom was a young peasant woman named Beryl. She bowed to the growing leader. Jealous of the love Prince Endymion had for the Moon Princess, she vowed revenge. Even Endymion's own generals began to reflect the change in the people of Earth.
