2. Everyone in the channel is expected to treat everyone else in channel with respect. We don't require you to agree with or like people, but we do require that everyone be treated with respect; ideally, with the same respect with which you yourself would like to be treated.
3. Please obtain permission to send private messages by asking in open channel before messaging. This applies to everyone regardless of orientation or role. The exception is channel operators, who may message on channel business at any time. 4. Please do not switch in channel; this confuses people. If you enter the channel as a submissive or Dominant, please remain in that orientation the entire day. If you enter the channel as a switch, please choose a role and maintain it for the entire day. Adjustments to nicks shortly after entering the channel to suit your declared orientation are not considered switching and are allowed.
5. Please do not make sexist, racist, etc. statements in channel and please do not use profanity or obscenities in channel.
6. Please treat others with tolerance. There will undoubtedly be people in channel who do or discuss things you would not do; similarly, it's likely that you do or discuss things that others may choose not to do.
7. Please follow the directions of the channel operators at all times. Our operators donate their time and it's not fair to make their job more difficult than it is.
8. Standard English is the protocol for the channel. If you choose to use honorifics or designations such as "Y/you," capitalize pronouns for Dominants, etc. it is acceptable, but please do not try to force your protocol on others. 9. Please do not interrupt scenes.
10. Please accept "no" as an answer and do not pester people or repeatedly ask for something after a person has declined.
11. Problems relevant to abuse or misconduct are handled by the operators under the direction of the channel owner and supervising operators. The supervising operators are The Governess/Ms. Nox and LadyGrey/Greyhawke. We are reasonable people, open to appeal, but any decision made by us will be considered final.
12. You must be 18 or older to participate in ASG. If you are playing a role (ie: ageplay in scene), the person you portray must be 18 or older.
13. Please do not be in any child pornography channels, children's channles, bestiality channels, or female abuse channels while you visit ASG. The operators reserve the right to decide if any other channels you may be in are appropriate, and their decision is final.
14. Please do not ask other Dominants to address you with honorifics. Please do not ask slaves you have not personally collared, or the slaves of others, to address you as "Master" or "Mistress."
