Realism Art

Well, I dunno how much this stuff counts as "realism". Basically, it's not Neopets. ^.~ Most of this was done fairly recently. All are from the pencil sketch/outline with mouse/color in Adobe PhotoDeluxe camp. The ones made with the mouse on oekaki are in the Oekaki Gallery.

Sadie It's a doodle of my aunt and uncle's dog Sadie. She's a cross between a golden retriever and a corgi, thus the strange body type. o.O; I was trying out some ways to make her look fuzzy without having to use jagged line art, but it just made her look like she's got spots. *laughs nervously* Ah well, I love the background. This was the first time I'd done one like it.

Er... still life? A still life of various kinds of candy. xD This was mainly shading practice, and kind of a result of the fact that I needed to draw, but didn't want to do anything big. ^^; And no, the candy bar's label isn't supposed to say anything. It's gibberish. xP

My Fursona Concept pic of a chibi anthro squirrel, my brand new anthro-fuzzy-fursona thing. xD I like the shading, but I got a little lazy on the background... just that one blue color and white. I was getting a bit impatient, though... those rainbows really do take forever to do. *sigh* But they look cool... at least I think they do. ^^ Also one of the biggest pictures I've ever made (nearly 700 pixels in height), which could also explain why it took so long. x_X

My Fursona A simple mug shot of my fursona, to use on my DeviantID and such. Also practice drawing this durned squirrel, who's harder to draw than she looks. xP I like the way the "arms" turned out, although I'm still not sure whether I should have finished the legs or not... o.O;

random sign A sketch... as I was on a family vacation in South Florida, going down the freeways and seeing all the signs like this. In Florida, they're put wherever someone dies in a car accident. As you can imagine, there were a lot on I-95. I just got depressed and had to sketch one of the signs, sorta as an acknowledgement to the many tragedies, one for each sign. So, while the guy whose name is on this sign is fictional, the problem isn't. ;-;
