Background: Sonic used to help his Uncle Chuck run a chili-dog stand. With Sonic's fast speed, he was able to make quick deliveries. However, after a delivery turned out to be a trick, Sonic returned to find his uncle missing. He ran to Robotropolis to find out what happened, but was stopped by Princess Sally. Sally explained that her father was also captured, and she convinced Sonic to join her and her freedom fighters. Soon Sonic became Robotnik’s number one enemy. (The story was later changed to show how Sally and Sonic grew up together and declared themselves freedom fighters.)
After some time passed, Sonic reunited with his Uncle Chuck and his parents Jules and Bernadette Hedgehog.
