Sleet - Robotnik's henchman in Sonic Underground; works with Dingo

Slo-mo - slang for slow motion or being slow (e.g. he is such a slo-mo!)

Snively - Robotnik's nephew in the Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog series and SatAM

Soap shoes - a name-brand shoe that Sonic wears in Sonic Adventure 2/Sonic Adventure 2 Battle that allows him to grind

Sonia - Sonic the Hedgehog's sister in Sonic Underground

Sonic & Knuckles - a separate game that featured "lock-on" technology, which allows gamers to play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, or a special stage game

Sonic 3D Blast - a game where Sonic has to collect Flickies in order to advance to the next level; appeared on the Genesis, Saturn, and PC

Star Circle - appears when touching a star post with 50 Rings in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis

Star Post - when crossed, it can:
1.    open the bonus stage in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles
2.    open the special stage in 
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (if you have 50 Rings)
3.    save your location in the zone in case you die

Super Dash Attack - a move added in 
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis to generate more speed while staying in one place; see also spin dash attack

Super Emerald - when playing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, these large emeralds can be collected after finding all seven Chaos Emeralds and reaching zone seven (Mushroom Hill); collecting all seven Super Emeralds allows new transformations:  Hyper Sonic, Hyper Knuckles, and Super Tails
