hey again. We got an email today from this cool chic Kristina Witt with details about the release of �Addicted�. Now, if you don�t already know, addicted was released more than a year ago, even before �Perfect.� And now that Simple Plan are getting in the know, I guess Warner have decided to re-release the single. We already have 2 copies of it�from last year of course. I can�t believe this, but I guess this is good in way. More people knowing their music. By the way, I forgot�its re-release date is gonna be on Monday 16th August. From what I see on her email, the only difference from the new one is that the perfect acoustic version is added on. It�s gonna only cost $4.67�cheap I tell you. Go get it when its out!!!
She also told us that the segment in the Hot30 was Rate The Music. Apparently, �addicted� beat britney�s song �outrageous� by 78%�78%!!! Holy Schmolli�are they good or what.

its Sunday today. Video hits was on and guess what they played??..addicted!!! ohh bloody hell�after about 1 year they begin playing it as an �exclusive�. Blah to them. They don�t even play perfect which is #9 on the charts and they play addicted. Shame on them.
So recently, simple plan have become more and more popular, they are probably the new �good charlotte� as most would say. There�s a poster of them in smash hits�so grab a copy if you haven�t already. Also, the most recent edition of twisted have a poster of them too, which is the exact one that they had 2 editions ago. If you�re in a decorating mood for your room, it�d be a good idea to get these purchases.
Apparently, in last weeks hot 30, they played addicted in this segment of choose this song or that. I don�t know what its called cos we don�t listen to today.fm. but, we�ve heard so and so.
Anyways, I�m out. commercialism is getting to me yet again.

Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of updates. I know I haven�t updated much. school has started and so much to do and ive been giving sp_aus a whole new makeover and re-doing the layout. But its not finished yet.
Anyways besides that, sp.com has been updated. And they have been touring around north America to do some warped dates. Some of you lucky peoples might�ve seen them perform.
And also they�ve set out a date for the release of their new album. its gonna be on the 26th October so make sure you have money by then.
And �perfect� has been nominated for the �best editing� video for the mtv vma. But that�s not all�they are also up against Beyonce in the viewers choice playoffs. Round 1 ends at August 2 so you better start voting. Vote here

Woah�sp.com has had a whole new makeover. They took out the old stuff and replaced it with new stuff. Its changed heaps but its pretty cool. They�re back on the road doing some touring and stuff so check them out if they come near your town.

Sam is forcing me to update even though it is unnecessary. Well, sp.com is updated yet again. They�re gonna be doing a gig at a county fair and their 3 warped tour dates and all these other cool stuff. They are also gonna be doing the photoshoot for their upcoming album. Yay. Who�s excited?? Let�s hope it�s a pretty one to add to your beautiful cd collection. Lucky people.
Oh and if you don�t know yet, theyre gonna be touring with Avril Lavigne [�again] around Europe and stuff. good golly. Lucky bizatchness. If ANYONE has ANY idea at ALL about them visiting Australia. Please tell us. We would like to know and we would greatly appreciate it.
So yay. People have actually visited this. I [and sam] feel loved.

Im sitting here eating my yummo midnight snack (freakishly it is exactly 12.00am) and of course I visit sp.com and realise pat still hasn�t updated. Damn. Anyways I went to check out the ARIA charts and �perfect� was #6. it went up. woo hoo to them. And the album is #32. another woo hoo �I guess.
Okay, im still trying to get the site finished. I still have tons of things to do�so yea.

Pat updated the sp.com. he just reminding us that they�ve been recording for 24 days now. It doesn�t feel like 24 days to me. Feels like a week�anyways they�ve just finished putting the final touches to one of their songs called �crazy� and they have completed four songs already�woo hoo. Nearly there. i�ve just found out that the hit cd NOW VOL 6 powered by HOT 30 features SP�s �perfect�. it was out yesterday, july 9. it includes other hit songs (mostly crappy ones) and is a double disc.
pat also updated sp.com and has included an exclusive clip of Pierre tracking guitar on one of their songs of the new album. check it out now.

okay. some good news. this week SP's single 'perfect' has climbed up the ARIA charts to #7. thats a fuckin huge leap from 11 to 7. and that's not all. they're album 'no pads, no helmets... just balls' is now on the ARIA charts (after 2 years) to #44. thats kinda lame since the album has been out for ages but people are finally realising simple plan. and in some HMV stores the single 'perfect' cost only $3. $3!!! so if you havent bought it yet...shame on you and buy it now or if you just need a back-up cd, buy it now too. (i dont know if this only applies to sydney peoples).
if you haven't known yet but SP are currently working on their second album. yay! so start saving. and also SP did a little cameo in the new olsen movie 'new york minute' which was out on thursday, 1 july. so if you havent watched it, get off the computer and buy a movie ticket. big screen of simple plan. woah! that is a MUST!

this week 'perfect' was #11 in the ARIA charts for top 50 singles. its been there for 12 weeks now and the best it's done is only #10. 10 people!!! ten!!! well, its not that bad, at least we know that they're still loved.
oh oh, has anybody been listening to hot30 lately?? well, they're holding a competition to see sp at the warped in chicago. gawd, i wish i went. you get to interview them with your new digital camera. woah man. its good though, that i didnt win cos if you were under 18 you had to bring a guardian over 18. how boring would that be? but unfortunately, the competition just finished last friday, so bad luck peoples.
