Extracts: "She grows at night. She can feel it beginning in the twilight with an aching heat that starts in her spine and spreads outward to every muscle of her limbs. While Oisin is sleeping, she tries not to cry out with the pain. She once played on fences, swinging by her arms until she could not stand the strain anymore. Now every inch of her feels like this, and relief doesn't come until she finally drops off into exhausted sleep. In the morning there are always notable differences. Everything about her is longer. Her hair is so thick it pulls heavily at her scalp. Her fingers have a better grip on things, and she is almost able to keep up with Oisin's strides in the woods. She can see farther now; distances she never noticed are appearing in front of her eyes. Often she wakes up in the morning with her arms reaching above her head, as though she is trying to lessen the pressure of her growth by giving in to it. Even her thoughts are longer. Ghost Whisperer (AR dream sequence) "Melinda's First Ghost" 1/27/06, 115. Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) can speak to the dead, and helps them move on. Getting close to her birthday, Melinda sees the ghost of an 8 year old girl (Abigail Breslin). She has flashback dreams of when she was 8, and learned a classmate had died, and she saw the girl in the classroom. Everyone thought she was imagining things. The dead girl thinks it has only been 2 days. Melinda is in her night gown in her bedroom, and talks to the girl. She asks if she looks older, and then we see Melinda go from adult to 8 year old (played by Grace Fulton) from the ghost girl's perspective. She responds your birthday's on friday, so you will be 9? Melinda just responds sure. Quotes: "Sarah, I want to talk to your mom alone, I might need to talk to her about grown-up stuff." "Melinda, you're a kid, she doesn't want to talk to you about grown-up stuff." (Tazz)
Lost (male flash forward looks like male AP) "Fire Plus Water" 1/25/06, 2.12. 48 total strangers survive a horrific plane crash onto a deserted island. Charlie is a washed up heroin addicted rock star. We see Charlie as a little boy on Christmas and then his older brother (who is also a kid in the flashback) ages to the grown man we have seen in a previous flashback. Charlie the kid then ages to the man we see every week. The whole family starts chanting "Save us Charlie". The TF's were off screen but kind of cool. (Tazz)

Otaku No Video (AP) 1991. Studio Gainax's classic pseudo-anime-mockumentary. Misty May is a made-up anime which the characters are making. Masters of fanservice, they coined the phrase "the Gainax Bounce" for boobs a' jiggling when they added her AP vignette. (dsojourn)
Bobobo-Bobo-Bobo (AR) 2005. In the current manga, the gang is looking for Hirukulani. His headquarters has a Children's Playground. When you go inside, you regress to your childhood, and can play with the other kids there. So when the gang goes in, Beauty, Gasser, and Suzu turn into little kids. Poppa Rocks/Don Patch, or Jelly Jiggler don't change much. Beauty's a teenager who turns into a 6-8 year old. Her clothes shrink to match, but she does get a lot shorter, her body tinier, and her head is a little oversized for her body. Bobobo goes from 28 to a kid, even though it's mostly minor changes. Totally Hidden Video(?) (AR pranks) This rip-off of "Candid Camera" aired in the late 1980s. Grandfathers took their grandkids to the park and "discovered" a booth that said "fountain of youth". They'd go in, and a little boy would come out, claiming to be the grandfather. The kids looked more terrified than amused, in my opinion. (DB Cooper)
Fledgling (age stasis) 2005 Octavia Butler vampire novel. Shori Matthews, a 53-year-old vampire who looks like a 10-year-old black girl, knows only that she needs to feed. Once she's drunk someone's blood (as quickly happens with Wright, a man who picks her up on the side of the road, whom she then beds) that person becomes tied to her in a relationship that's closer to love than it is to slavery, though it's an uncomfortable mix of the two. What proceeds is a darkly erotic story of a family and race crisis. Shori's frank and carnal relationship with her symbionts is complicated by her looking like a little girl. Despite his affection for Shori, Wright persists in asking awkward questions about the nature of her devotion and the extent to which he's really free to resist her. "Do you love me, Shori, or do I just taste good?" The novel's conclusion suggests it is the start of a series.
The Life and Times of Juniper Lee (kinda like TG APed) "Oh Brother What Art Thou" 15, 1/14/06 cartoon. Rei Rei, Junipers little brother, drinks a growth potion and turns into a big dinosaur like creature. In an attempt to change him back they make clones of him, but each clone is different, One is a humanoid dog, another part elephant, and even an adult female version of himself. (Necros)

The Story Of Menstruation (coming of age) "Presenting the Story of Menstruation" 1946 Walt Disney cartoon, Kotex Products. It has been estimated that the film has been seen by 93 million American women. Neither sexuality nor reproduction is mentioned in this influential film, and an emphasis on sanitation makes it "a hygienic crisis rather than a maturational event." Schoolgirls in the 1950s were shown "educational" films, such as "Figure Forum" and "Facts About Your Figure" (made by the Warner Brassiere Company), and it helped create "needs" for products in young girls as early as 11 years old.

Good wrestlers Wendy Richter, Hulk Hogan, Tito Santana, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Andre the Giant, Hillbilly Jim, and JYD eat soup with de-aging agent. Wendy doesn't feel so good, and they start to change into little kids. Their clothes are too big for their little bodies. Andre is the biggest of the kids. Hulk tries to convince police officers some punks stole his HulkMobile. Young JYD and Andre fix up a child's version of the HulkMobile, and little Wendy helps her friends get kids' clothes. The police talk to the kids, and then little Wendy doesn't feel so good again, and they change back into their adult forms. (Kris Rothacher)

Nana 7 Of 7 (AA AP) 2002 anime Ep 26. Mad-scientist-grandfather's microwave/energy prism creates 6 clones of Nana that she must keep hidden, representing different parts of her personality. Nana dreams she multiplies her clones by 7 into the hundreds of thousands to wage feudal war on a bunch of bullies. The infant daughter of the offending family touches the microwave and is promptly aged from about 1 to 24 in seconds. "Oooooh, I'm just growing up sooooo fast!" (dsojourn)

Twinbee Paradise (growth CB, GTS, male growth) Ca 1994 anime. Pastel scarfs down some cookies and awakens to find herself the size of a doll. A chemical in the cookies was meant to make her lose weight. The mad doctor creates a growth ray which results in a 20 metre tall naked girl on the pageant floor. After "accidentally" creating another giantess, he restores Pastel to her original size. She is angry that her brother Light and everyone else saw her naked, due to her growing out of her doll-sized clothing, so she steals the growth ray and starts unloading at Light. Some more girls end up giant sized, but eventually she hits him and he grows through the roof of the convention centre. (Process Forum)

Helen Of Troy is the owner of a singles dating service, her way of finding perfect physical specimens to offer as sacrifices to the goddess Hecate. A Voice from the Ashes - A Tribute to Elaine (growth, UC, dream sequence) Novel by Michael M. Michalak. "Her jeans refused to pull up over her thighs and her T-shirt seemed to have shrunk three sizes. The jeans barely reached midway down her calves and the shirt stopped two inches above her navel. How could she have grown six inches overnight [from 5' 2'' to 5' 8''] it just wasn't possible, half a foot taller for God's sake. Tess strode around the flat for a good twenty minutes, acquainting herself with the feel of having much longer legs. "I feel like a kid who got exactly what she wanted for Christmas even though she had not really expected to", Tess gloated to herself. To anyone who might have seen the gleeful look on her face she would have resembled that same child."
Click (AP) 6/06 movie. Workaholic architect Adam Sandler has a scientist in Bed Bath and Beyond invent a "universal remote control" that works with everything and everyone around him. Among other things, he turns down the volume of his dog and pauses his boss so that he can slap him. In the movie trailer, the button gets stuck, and he fast-forwards his 5 year old daughter to her teen years. There are credits for Samantha at age 5-6, age 14, and age 27. (Tazz, jasobres)
Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story (male, kinda like Adult Baby) 2005 UK movie. Director Michael Winterbottom attempts to shoot the adaptation of Laurence Sterne's unfilmable novel, "The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman." The book begins with accounts of the conception of the autobiographical subject. Steve Coogan plays both Tristram, the novel's hero, and himself playing Tristram in the shoot of a film. With true offbeat British humor, we are taken through the birth of Tristam Shandy and the birth of the movie about the birth. Seeing Coogan �in the womb� may be one of the funniest bits about birth ever.

Mazaa Mazaa (flash forward, mental ARed) 2005 India. Hindi musical movie. 15-year-old Jassi feels that she's not good looking or happening. She always complains of being too young and not being able to do things that are done by her elder friends. Their dresses are jazzy, they are seen at all the in-places having fun, and they do all the things prohibited for a girl of Jassi's age! She feels bored confined in her private world. Jassi's only sympathizer is her fat, ever-loving friend Rocky. Monica, her smart and manipulative rival in school, is modern in her outlook and can make things happen her way. Due to some magic dust, Jassi's dream of growing big and beautiful comes true when time moves on overnight. She, her rival Monica (now a successful model), her friend Rocky, and the entire world become older by 10 years, hence giving Jassi ample opportunity to hit back. Jassi (Payal Rohatgi), a youngster with the body of a 25 year old, enters a world of adulthood not yet armed with the experiences of growing up. She has a figure to die for, while her age permits her to do all that she dreamt of. She goes to discotheques and clubs, hangs around with friends, and wears everything that she could only imagine earlier, but she still has the outlook of a child.

Oku-sama wa Mahou Shoujo (AP, RN) Anime, from part 05. Sayaka's beginning to deal with love, and has self-esteem issues after she gets teased for being flat. It's not easy being a mahou shoujo, and poor Sayaka has to deal with body issues at such a young age! She realizes she can change her appearance to an adult to lure Kagura. Transforming into a pig-tailed young adult, her plan seems successful. Sayaka is very pleased Kagura didn't recognize her. Sayaka is trying to be an adult on the outside, but is so clearly immature, as she struggles with her desire to act older than she is. One of the themes that was consistently touched upon was the difference between age and maturity. Kagura apologizes for trying to kiss adult-form Sayaka, and admits he got caught up in the mood. Sayaka wants to confess her true identity, and is starting to wilt from maintaining her adult form for so long. Before fainting, she asks Kagura if he likes big breasts (since he likes full-bodied pottery). Kagura ends up having to care for Sayaka. Ureshiko secretly infuses Sayaka with enough magic to feel better, and maintain her form. Kagura gives Sayaka his cell phone number and Sayaka giddily accepts it, and tells Kagura that her name is Sayaka. Kagura realizes this name sounds familiar, but has to rush off.

Child of Peach (AP) AKA "Kung Fu Wonder Child (parts 1 to 4)" Hong Kong 1987, Lin Hsiao Lan, not to be confused with other movie of same name based on Tv-series. New Wave fantasy. A Demon Clan was awakened after a 1000 year curse has been lifted, and they start wreaking havoc upon everyone. The Peach Kid is the only one able to defeat them, however she's too young. A fairy-like creature notices this and casts a spell that turns her into a grown woman.
Alison's Birthday (mind transfer, old age/ARed) 1979 Australian movie, Joanne Samuel. A cult is plotting to switch a 19 year old girl's body with their 104 year old leader, who has lived for many centuries by stealing the bodies of girls on their 19th birthday. It's poignant when the young girl wakes up in the old body, and then sees her former beautiful young body come into the room. The body stealer just smiles gloatingly, as the girl in the hag's body just screams and screams looking at her hands! (Eric)
A.I. Love You (AP) 2005 Ken Akamatsu manga, TokyoPop. Forty sees an opportunity to prove that she is an adult. She tries to take care of Hitoshi by doing the washing and cooking, but everything goes poorly. Forty changes herself into an adult body, modeled after Saatis, and Hitoshi finds himself attracted to her. Just as things get steamy, Forty utters the secret password "man" and turns into a man. Yayoi is obsessed with other women's breasts, and is constantly fondling strangers. Saati makes Yayoi's breasts look bigger, and Yayoi gets a boost of confidence.
Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh (AA growth) 1991. A 5th grader and her friend get measured. The friend is happy to see she grew a couple of centimeters, but the main girl hasn't grown at all. Some older girls tease the main girl for being short, and she fears she'll never be tall. At night in her room she is fantasizing about growing up to be tall and strong. Another fantasy about an older and taller version of her has a guy confessing his love to her, and they embrace. She's praying and praying and praying to be taller. She goes to bed when the monster of this episode decides to use his height measuring tool on her. We just see a close-up of her face, smiling in her sleep. The next day, we only see the outside of her house but we hear her exclaim in surprise at herself. Initially she was 115cm or around 3'9". The monster's first growth seems to cause her to be something like 5'4". At school everyone is surprised. The Principal is saying good morning, and she walks past and is so tall he only comes up to around her elbow. She's now as tall as the middle or high schoolers, nearly as tall as the charkboard. She's going around flaunting it, so proud of herself, and goes so far as to pull one of the older boys by the arm and flirt with him. She is now slightly taller than him, and the guy is trying to hide that he likes it. Later on we see her playing jump rope with her usual friends, but she catches her foot on the ropes, and it seems she's having a harder time at her height. One of the main guys (now significantly shorter than her) teases her, and she gets pissed and puts him in a full nelson. Since she's as big as everyone here, it should be ok for her to be at the command station. Then the monster enlarges everything that he had previously grown, including her! She destroys her classroom and grows out of the building, and, after getting over the panic of becoming around 15m, ends up fighting the monster. Afterward, the giant robot does the finishing move, and everything shrinks back to normal. She learns her lesson to wait until she gets older to grow, but gets teased a little bit anyway at the end. Phantasy Degree (AP) 2005 manga, Tokyopop. Main character Sang has a unique ability. By taking rings off her hands and putting them on different fingers, she can change from a small, cute girl to a sexy adult version of herself. In the next 102 minutes of the 3-part miniseries, the status of the clothes and shoes she was found in, if any, is not alluded to.

Betsy Schneider (banned AP project) "Since her birth in 1997 I have made 2 photographs of my daughter Madeleine every day. She is standing up and looking straight into the camera. When my son Viktor was born in 2002, I expanded the project to document his development. Each day I make a full length vertical image of each child and a horizontal shot of their face. The aim of these pictures is not to provoke or to shock. The idea is to show time, change and growth. I came to it wanting to keep a record, wanting to hold on. More than 5 years later it remains an integral part of our lives, the first (sometimes the only) thing we do together each day. I decided that the body-shot would be unclothed for what seemed to me to be quite obvious reasons: I wanted to show how the body changes over time, I also wanted to record the incidental changes which happen day to day: their cuts and bruises, dirt, drawings on themselves, temporary tattoos, tans and sunburns. With clothes on, the work would have been more about what they wore each day, I am more interested in what their bodies look like each day. The work is very much about the child's body: the way it grows and absorbs life as well as the way the child's relationship to his/her body changes over time. I have found that people respond more strongly to the movement and the changes in the body-shots than the headshots. I am working on morphing the headshots into a video which I plan to eventually have as an extension of the work. The images are divided into 63 day / 9 week blocks, the digital prints measuring approximately 42x50 inches/110x130cm. The tiny, gradual changes in a child's development become the raw record of an individual's growth."
Alessandra Sanguinetti (flash forward) Photo project, Argentina. "The Adventures of Guille and Belinda and the Enigmatic Meaning of Their Dreams". In 1999, Alessandra began working on a series of photographs which register the saga of 2 young cousins, then 9 and 10 years old. Cultivating an intimate relationship with the pair over the years, Sanguinetti collaborates with the girls to record the psychological and physical transition from childhood to adulthood. Guille and Belinda use costumes, props, and their imaginations to produce visual tableaux imbued with references to art and literature that explore the diffuse boundary between fantasy and reality.
Sweet expectations : "In this portrait series I am attempting to capture the moments and attitudes that reflect the advent of behavior and gestures of children that, to the adult, might seem borrowed, but that the children experience as their own. I focus on that border just before puberty, when the child glimpses the contradictions of the adult world. Childhood dressed up in grownups clothes, wondering what will be. These expectations and the metamorphosis that awaits at adolescence are rehearsed each day, like someone posturing before the mirror, looking for a hint, perhaps, of what is to come.

Later, the older brother Walter wishes for the astronaut's brother to come back, and it turns out that the astronaut is really Walter.
