The Constellation of Sylvie (AR) Roderick Townley novel, 04/06. Sequel to "The Great Good Thing" and "Into the Labyrinth". The book is stowed away on a space shuttle embarking on a 4-year mission to Jupiter. Princess Sylvie and the other characters must act out the book's plot while floating weightlessly through the pages. Ice from one of Jupiter's moons provides oxygen to sustain the shuttle crew, but it also contains a compound that reverses the aging process, regressing the crew toward babyhood. Birth, death, and infinity become fatally intertwined. Soon the astronauts are only children, and their own lives, and the fate of the characters in the book, lie in the hands of Sylvie, who must reach into their dreams to help them make it back to Earth alive.

- (AR, male ARed) Ep 128, Ep 129 "A University Professor and the Girl Who Came From the Black Organization" 12/21/98. The new girl in Shinichi's elementary school class, Haibara Ai, reveals she was the Black Corps scientist who developed the AR drug which regressed Shinichi. She took her own drug to commit suicide. Apoptoxin is supposed to cause all cells to apoptose, or commit suicide. Rather than die, she regressed and escaped. You see her hand/arm shrink enough to slip out of the now-too-large handcuff. Apoptoxin and its resulting regressions are excrutiatingly painful. She's barely able to crawl out of the lab in her now too large lab coat, let alone react to her condition. She attaches herself to Shinichi, the only one who shares her situation.
- (unseen AP, AR RN) Ep 176 "Meeting with the Black Organization Again" Part 1 (1/17/00), Ep 177, Ep 178: Shinichi has Ai drink an old Chinese sake named Paikuru which returns one's body to its proper age for a short while, although it only works once before the body developes an immunity. There's a long buildup to the (unseen?) AP which makes for a good mood-setter. Afterward (offscreen?) she immediately removed the remains of her child clothes and changed into worker's coveralls. She only came up to the knees of adults, which makes for quite a size change and much destroyed clothing. Shinichi now only reaches his girlfriend's knees with much interaction. The effects of the alcohol wear off and Ai regresses back to her child form. Ai wants to stay a child, otherwise the Black Corps. will find her immediately and kill her. She was shot several times and fell down the chimney just prior to the AR, and realizes 3 seconds later a Black Corps. assassin was sitting on the room watching her regress. Totally Spies (16 to 12 AR) 2006 French anime. "I Hate the Eighties" Entire episode can now be downloaded at ARarchive.com (Maniac folder). Alex and Clover are zapped with AR gun. Their clothes changed to 80's fashions. Sam notices friends getting shorter and younger and acting childish. Mandy also ARed to about 13. Sam gets zapped but since she started later she towers over the other spies. Alex is too short to reach the pedals! They learn the hard way that they're not strong enough anymore to beat up villains in their usual manner. When they returned to normal, they gained about 10 inches (growth not shown). Clover and Alex still wore same outfits as before RN.

Really swell scene where 13 year old Natsumi Hinata gets shot with AP laser in order to parent the 3 alien frogs and her younger brother on their trip to the beach. The Sgt. uses his alien powers to convince her to join a bikini contest, where she competes against another big busted woman. Just as the results come in, she regresses back to normal, and her clothes fall off.

The coach is attacked and killed, and the young teen becomes an older man with a beard. The Doom Patrol tracks him to a diner where he is about to drain the counter lady. The man's eyes glow red. Negima! Magister Negi Magi (AR AP) Manga. Negima vol 9 ch 76 has all sorts of AR. Asuna went on practice date with Negi by making him appear older with magic pills. Konoka immediately grows 4 years to age 18. She takes more pills and gives one to Setsuna. They end up as 7 year olds as Konoka drags the very confused Set-chan around. Xbox (male AP) "Life is short - Play more" commercial. Woman giving birth pushes so hard the baby boy goes flying through a window. The boy matures while flying above the landscape, changing from newborn to infant, to young boy to teen to his 20's, middle aged, and finally he grows grey hair and his teeth fall out. Right at the end he crashlands in a coffin at a cemetery. This was taken off the air quickly due to graphic material. It's a very very good transformation though. Old hag 'Stirba' becomes busty, horny young 'Stirba' (portrayed by Playboy actress Sybil Danning) after sacrificing a virgin bride and sucking the youth from her! Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter (old age) 1973 movie. Horst Janson, Caroline Munro. Profesional Vampire Hunter tries to find out why, in a small village young girls suddenly age 50 years! It's the work of a unique vampire who drains its victims not of their blood--but of their youth.
City Hunter (flash forward) 1993 movie based on manga. Private investigator Jackie Chan's killed partner asks him to take care of his little girl, Kaori. The whole scene is done in an absurd - unreal - almost Busby Berkely surrealistic style that signals to the audience not to take anything seriously. The girl quickly grows up (in a matter of seconds on the screen) to the fetching Joey Wong who becomes Jackie's girl Friday. Joey is very much in love with Jackie - but sticking with 1 girl is not City Hunter's style - he is a ladies man to the end.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (no AP/AR) 2007 Natalie Portman comedy. Described as a cross between "Willy Wonka" and "Big", Portman plays the manager of a toy store infused by the spirit of its eccentric owner. Her depression has turned the once vibrant store to a gray pallor.
Through Thick & Thin (teen weight loss, teen weight gain, possible UC?) 06/96 after school movie, 30 minutes. Overweight girl swaps bodies with her model-thin sister (Leslie Hibbard). Miranda shapeshifts to a middle aged woman in order to be her own mother. Once Kat has gone, Miranda transforms back into an old crone and says she is already feeling better. She leans across to the nightstand and blows out a black candle, as she pulls back, she transforms back into Miranda. Later she transfers her soul into Kat's body. A strong breeze begins to blow around the room and Kat opens her eyes to see Miranda has become the old crone. Kat screams and tries to break away, but the old crone says they are one. There is a flash of light and the crone is absorbed into Kat. She doubles over and the crone appears in front of her. As the wind howls around them, Rachel tells the crone that she is finished here. The crone collapses and is consumed by a bright light, which fades to reveal Kat. (The Gambler)

Every time he is killed he simply molts his old skin and emerges in a new, more developed form. In his first appearance, he resembles an old man. When he is smeared against a wall by Yomiko he sheds his skin and emerges as a child. Later, when shot, he sheds his child form and transforms into an adult. Because he spends most of the series in the form of a child, Fabre's personality is very chipper and cheerful.

Kirito asks the 2nd question: how old do you think I am? Kaoru guesses 14, and then Kirito transforms into her 24 year old body and apologizes for asking an unanswerable question. A madougu changes her body's age at will. She then transforms into an old woman. Joker and Kaoru are bewildered by the madougu's power. Changed into a 9-year-old body, Kirito continues to explain that there's the side effect of changing her mental age as well. Joker relates this to a multiple personality disorder. Kirito has no memory of her life before Rinne, thus she has no clue about her real age. Mori told her that if she kills Hokage, he will tell her what her true age is. She asks the boy if he knows her true age. Kirito gets a message over her radio to tone down the blasts since it's disturbing everyone in Hell and Heaven. Jumanji (last female Western AP, excellent growth, also male AP, old age scenes) Animated 11/30/97, 3.13. "An Old Story", based on 1996 Kirsten Dunst movie. The two kids accidentally fall into a whirlpool that is like a reverse fountain of youth. At first, they don't notice, but as time passes, they get older and older. Judy Shepherd goes from a preteen girl to a smoking hot blond with a great rack (not known if her cartoon clothes were damaged.) I'm not surprised about a rack that big on a kids show. That studio was also responsible for Duckman, and there were some legendary sized ones there. Probably the last great American AP that will ever hit the Tv screen. (Zetta)

Michael thinks she's a teacher, and the perfect woman. She wears animal backpacks and jumps up and down on the bed. "Let's have lie-down kisses!" Comments: "Look at the way she stands in front of the preschool, holding hands with the kids -- not as a teacher, but as their equal.
