Beginner's Guide to Scale Models

DH miniatures Scale models Model dioramas Model Links

This page will be for those interested in scale modeling of all types, with particular attention paid to dioramas.

I first became interested in this when I entered a general hobby store looking for things to use in miniatures. They sure knew how to sell, because they hooked me for good on the smaller scales (1/48, 1/87 and smaller). I'm looking forward to beginning a new hobby (or rather expanding an old one *grin*)

Below is a table of various model scales. It is not an exhaustive listing, but these are the most common ones that I've come across. However, if you think I've missed an important one, please email me with the details.
