Pompous Inc. started in 2007 after the Oklahoma based band, the Pompous Asses, had talks about the way of life they created. They not only wanted to have a website dedicated to the band, but also a site dedicated to their way of life. The three original members of the Pompous Asses want to spread their way of life all over the world. And how better to reach such a vast audience? The World Wide Web was clearly their best bet in getting the Pompous Philosophy all over the world, while at the same time showing the world their band. While they admit that the band might still need a couple years work before they could do much, they also recognize that the Pompous Philosophy is something so important that they need a website to explain and help people to learn what the new definition of Pompous really is.
While both the site and the group has come into unsure waters it is now known that www.pompous.tk will remain up and going. Pompous Inc. member John Hunt is joining the U.S. Air Force. Once his departure from Oklahoma City is underway we can not be to sure as to where he will be. While he is not leaving Pompous Inc. He isn't however going to be able to contribute, as much, to the Pompous Inc. The band will remain active as they are seeking a fourth member, not a replacement, but another guy to join Wade and Dustin in their quest to stay together and keep the band going until the one day that John is able to return to Pompous Inc.
The Pompous Inc. website is still up dispite the rebuilding of over two-thirds of it. The website came into unsure waters after Google pulled their ads for unknown reasons. Pompous Inc. did however return with a different ad system and a cleaner interface that is both easier to use and easier to view.
While Pompous Inc. is still a young company their future is promising and bright. Pompous Inc. web designer Wade says "This is only the beginning in something that will become huge." |
