Club Details

The Wellington Classic Motorcycle Club was formed in 1978, by a group who felt there was enough demand for a separate club to cater to the needs of owners of older machines. The Club was originally a branch of the Victoria Motorcycle Club. Currently, the Club has over 50 members.

The Club's aims include the preservation and presentation of motorcycles and motorcycling, and raising the image of motorcycling. The Club is open to all interested in old motorcycles. Bikes range from pre-war and onwards up until 20 years old or younger if the machine is passed as a classic by the committee. Members are drawn from the wider Wellington region. We own motorbikes, scooters, mopeds & clip-ons from all corners of the globe.

Join the Club for social activities, networking, access to technical knowledge, and assistance in maintaining and rebuilding your bike(s), plus discounts on parts and accessories.

Club Nights	Club nights are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Red Cross Hall (down the alleyway beside the Plunket Rooms), Kensington Ave, Petone beginning at 7.30pm or as otherwise advertised in Coming Events
Monthly Club Runs	Club runs are held on the last Sunday of each month or as otherwise advertised in Coming Events usually departing from the Cenotaph at 1 pm.
Annual Club Run	Each year the club organises a 'Long Week-end Run'. The run is of around 3 - 4 days duration. Held around late Oct/early Nov.
Annual Rally	A two day affair held in summer.
Classic Bike Show	Bike show coming up next year. Watch this space for details.
