 very showy and long stemmed (straw is about 18" to 22" to the first joint). The long black beards extend beyond the top of the head approximately 4" to 5". The overall length is about 36" and unlike most other Black Bearded varieties, this is a weavable durum that makes up beautifully and will be your best seller. Black Bearded Durum is also beautiful in floral arrangements. (Durum is grown for pasta and semolina.)
