Step 1:

Working in groups of five students, separate the work load according to topic
(i.e demography, topography, politics, economy, and misconceptions)

To help you and your team find pertinent information on your chosen country, we have listed below links to informative websites. These will guide you to relevant information on South American culture, politics, economy, and social life in general.

Step 2:

For the visual part of your project, it is important that you work as a team.
Everyone should be involved in this process, i.e. through collecting images, providing appropriate materials (Diarama), and producing the finished product.

Visit
for great images and pictures of South America.

Step 3:

Now that you have collected your information on various aspects of  your chosen country, regroup and share what you have learned. Each member should write a page on their topic. Collectively, these pages will make up your 5 page paper.

Step 4:

It is almost time to hand in the 'Big Assignment!' Prepare a presentation of your findings to the class, along with your visual.
