a) Demographic Questions
* What is the population of your
chosen
country?
* What is the language most commonly
spoken?
* What religions are practiced by the people?
b) Topographic Questions
* What is the topography of the country like?
* Is it mountainous?
* Does it contain a rain forest?
* Is your country bordered by an ocean?
c) Economic Questions
* What is the average annual income of a household?
* What are the major imports and exports of the country?
* What major fields of industry, if any, are present?
* Is it one of the poorer countries of South America?
d) Political Questions
* What type of government is present in your chosen country?
(Totalitarian, Democratic, Socialist, Communist, etc.)
* Who are the major political figures?
e) Misconceptions
* What are some common biases and misjudgments
made about the people?
Ex. All Colombians are
drug traffickers.
Women in Argentina have excessive eating disorders.

"Latinos" know how dance!
3. Prepare a project that will consist of a short paper (4-5
pages) and
a visual that encompass
the inforamtion you have researched on your
chosen country. This visual
should be presented as a poster, diarama,
powerpoint, painting,
etc. Be creative!!!
