John Wisdom-Sendrey has a phd in economics at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Télécom ParisTech) and is specialized in search engine usage and economics. He gives courses in scientific communication at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI) and is a former assistant professor at the Ecole Polytechnique. He is currently the English examiner for the entry exam. He has taught English at university level for thirty years. As an interpreter and translator, he has worked for the French National Assembly, the Sorbonne, and the French Prime Minister's office.

He has published several books among which Anglofun and the guide du cybermonde. He will be in charge of setting up an on-line language-learning platform for the University UPMC.
