An art gallery in the heart of the Saint Germain district

Our gallery is situated in the heart of the sixth district, 80 rue Bonaparte, between the Saint Sulpice Church and the Luxembourg Gardens. It is the last art gallery on the rue Bonaparte.

The Gallery's history

The gallery was founded in 1986 by Marie de Holmsky and has been the home to many modern art exhibitions. Among the artists we have promoted are: Dido, Georgette Simon. The building is on the site of the hôtel de Mézières, given to the Jesuits in 1610 to house a Noviciat. In 1630 a church was built there. When the Jesuits were expelled by Louis XV in 1764, the Noviciat was confiscated and sold, and the church was destroyed.
