Since the plan is to open the parks and resorts in Hong Kong already the focus of the strategy should be the proper marketing to not only the local market but to the World. Those Disney fans that are ‘die-hards’ have know about these plans to move – through personal research, however, the common person or tourist most likely has no idea of the plans. The Walt Disney Company should invest in a advertising campaign to enhance the foreign attendance of tourists to this new market. A wonderful way to create awareness for the country and increase economic profits would be to advertise how the Walt Disney Resorts are creating links to the future or the world. This is an incredible opportunity to get American tourists overseas. Since the opening of the Paris park – attendance has been highly from American tourists. By implementing this strategy starting in the next year Disney will be able to increase awareness globally of themselves and their product(s).
