DAILY JOURNAL COMMENTS:
I woke up at 11:00 and felt great after being able to sleep for such a long time. I ate a bowl of Frosted Flakes for breakfast and then went with Matt and Dan to a local sports shop. Before we got there, we took a quick trip to the Post Office to see if any more mail had come in. I was expecting some new Speedplays but they had not come in yet and since we didn't have room for the other mail, we left it there to be picked up the next day. From the Post Office, we went to the sports shop. They had a large section with great discounts such as a pair of North Face Gore-Tex pants on sale from $140 to $80. After looking around for a little while, we went back to the church and I made some lunch. Finally I didn't have to eat another peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I got some bread, cheese, and butter and made a grilled cheese sandwich which seemed to be a real treat. After eating, I went onto the internet for a few hours to try to make my web page look better by adding on some new images such as the PedalPower Home link at the bottom of this page that spins. After fiddling around for a little while and discovering a few sites that have numerous images, I got off and gave my parents a call again. As soon as I got off of the phone, I got some dinner which consisted of left over pasta with peanut sauce. It didn't taste to good but filled me up for a little while. A little while later I was hungry again so I made two more grilled cheese sandwiches and then cooked up some ramen soup. It all tasted good but since I was already hot from the summer temperatures it surely didn't help to stop me from sweating. After eating, I relaxed some more and went back on the computer before going to bed around 1:00.
