Twinned Rotating Ys
This is a pattern for eight jugglers. It is juggled on a five count. (A
six count pattern is also possible). The starting positions and first
pass are shown below:
After the first pass the jugglers have four self throws to move to the
positons where they'll make their next pass. The red arrows below show
how they move:
The second pass is shown in the next figure:
After the pass the jugglers have four self throws to move to the positons
where they'll make their next pass:
The third pass is shown in the next figure:
After the pass the jugglers have four self throws to move to the positons
where they'll make their next pass:
The fourth pass is shown in the next figure:
After the pass the jugglers have four self throws to move to the positons
where they'll make their next pass:
And they are all back in their original positions!
A Variation:
You may have noticed that each juggler makes all their right hand passes
to one particular juggler (eg A always makes right hand passes to B), and
their left hand passes to another juggler (eg A always makes left hand
passes to G). One way to change this is to alter the second and third passes.
