The carnival theme for 2011 is 'Roses Are Forever'. Roses are symbolic of love, romance and affection. The symbolism of love, highlights the love of Malaysians for God, our country, culture, heritage and history. As a nation, love is celebrated amongst the diverse multi-cultural residents of this beautiful land and resonates in the vision of our beloved Prime Minister � '1 Malaysia'.
The love of nature and all things of beauty will be portrayed in the intricate and creative displays at BEAUTIFUL FLOWER CARNIVAL 2011.

With the selection of the rose as the theme flower, Putrajaya Beautiful Flower Carnival 2011 will be filled with warmth, beauty and fragrance that is associated with this flower. Furthermore :
- Roses come in a variety of types and colours. Over 100 species of roses can be found in Southeast Asia and more than 300 species around the world.
