Después de los tests del 11-EA, el helicóptero fue rediseñado manteniendo en mente el estudio del sistema de control. Las alas fueron reemplazadas por una estructura para soportar los rotores. Las palas del rotor principal eran de metal. Fue estudiado sistemáticamente en los años 1940-1941 por el ingeniero-piloto D.I.Saveljev y por el diseñador V.P.Lapisov. Las perfomances eran buenas, siendo la aeronave estable y respondía a los controles. Los testeos se detuvieron debido a el desgaste del motor. |

After a series of tests the 11-EA helicopter was rebuilt after a more systematic study of controls. The wing was replaced by a frame structure supporting the control rotors, borrowed temporaly from the older models 1-EA and 3-EA. The main rotor blades were of all metal construction. This design was systematically studied in 1940-1941 by engineer-pilot D.I.Saveljev and designer V.P.Lapisov. Performance was good, and the aircraft was stable and responsive to controls.
