Time in ReBoot is different than in the world of the Users. Often, the characters will say things like, "Be back in a nano!" or, "We haven't got all second!" There are many theories about time in ReBoot, and asking different people will yeild different answers.
Many ReBoot fanfic writers will put the time scale they use at the begining of their fanfics. When you see one of these scales, be sure to read it carefully, so that you will understand how time in their fics works.
There is not right or wrong way to do a ReBoot Time Scale. Use whatever you feel comfortable with. I like to use a simple Time scale that I got from Julia-Cat.

Please note that one's perception of time remains the same. An hour will still feel like an hour, even if Bob calls it a millisecond. If Bob or Dot or Matrix says, "Your apartment will be ready in a second.", be prepared to spend another night in your hotel.
Incidently, there is day and night in ReBoot, although a clear sky will darken if a game cube drops.
