My other big passion (besides Drak Pack) is ReBoot. ReBoot is the first cartoon 100% computer generated. Everything is in 3D and rich in mood and color. It was created by Mainframe, in Vancouver Canada, who also makes the War Planets and Beast Wars cartoons (Shadow Raiders and Beasties, if you happen to live in Canada and some other places where you can't use the word "war" in a title.)

The action takes place in the city of Mainframe, which exists in someone's computer. The hero is Bob, Guardian 452, whose job is to "Mend and Defend" Mainframe. "Mend" refers to tears, unstable balls of energy that can be turned into portals by either a Guardian's Keytool or a dropped game. Bob is blue-skinned, brown-eyed, and chrome-haired. By Season 3, the chrome hair is more like steel-gray.

Keytools are multi-purpose tools that Guardians wear on their left arms or on their belts. They can do practicaly anything that the Guardian commands them to do. Keytools are intelligent and sentenint. It is the Keytool that chooses its Guardian, not the Guardian choosing the Keytool. Bob's Keytool is named Glitch. In Season 3, Bob had to merge with Glitch, giving Bob all of Glitch's energy powers, but not the morphing powers.

One of the major problems that the Mainframer's face are game cubes. These are games dropped (or put into the computer) by Users (humans). The Mainframers must "reboot" --change into-- characters from the game. If they win, everything is okay. No one is hurt. But if the User wins, the entire sector (the cubes are HUGE!), then the sector is destroyed and the Mainframers that were in the game are nullified (becomes little multi-colored, slug-like creatures). Bob is a master player, and with him in the games, the User always loses!

Dot Matrix is Mainframe's file manager. By Season 3, she becomes its COMMAND.COM (that's a mayor). She is Enzo's older sister and has a thing for Bob. She owns Dot's Diner, is partners with Al in Al's Wait 'n' Eat, and owns many more businesses in Mainframe. She won't say which ones and how many. She is green-skinned, violet-eyed, and has very dark-green hair.

Matrix is the adult Enzo Matrix. He complied-up (grew-up) in the games. He is AndrAIa's lover. Like Dot, Matrix is green-skinned, violet-eyed, and has very dark-green hair. His right eye is a gold cybernetic replacement, with a red targeting "(V)" in its center. The eye has several powers, including X-Ray vision, and is linked to Matrix's gun (named, "Gun").

Little Enzo is the back-up copy of Matrix. Matrix forgot to change his icon from "Game Sprite Mode" to normal, and when the system restarted, the computer didn't read Matrix as being there. So the computer created a back-up copy of the Season 1 Enzo. He's roughly about 9 years old, and is very hyperactive.

AndrAIa is a game sprite, from the game, "Treasure of Atlantis". She made friends with Enzo in Season 2, and downloaded a copy of herself onto his icon. At the time, she was about Enzo's age. She grew up with Enzo in the games, becoming a beautiful young woman. She also upgraded her weapons. In Season 2 and the first four episodes of Season 3, AndrAIa's weapons were: her paralizing nails, a pink starfish (in her hair), and a wrist-mounted crossbow. Begining in the 5th episode (First episode of the second story-arc), the adult AndrAIa had traded in her crossbow for a trident. She is orangish-tan, with tourquoise-colored eyes and hair. She is an elf-like sprite (the human-looking inhabitants of the computer world), with pointed ears and a pixie face.

Mouse is a computer hacker. We first find out about her in the Season 1 episode "The Crimson Binome", where we see a small, stylized mouse carving on the wall. Bob mentions that he knows her. We finally get to see her in, "The Great Brain Robbery", where she is a freelancer working for Megabyte. We don't see her again until the Season 2 episode, "Gigabyte", where she is working for Turbo and the Guardians (who, unknown to Mouse and the rest, are infected by Deamon, a super-virus). She stays around for Season 3, becoming a full member of the cast, working for the good guys. It was Mouse that reformatted Enzo, AndrAIa, and Frisket's icons --as well as her own-- so that AndrAIa could reboot. Had AndrAIa entered a game before Mouse reformatted the icons, then, win or lose, AndrAIa would have left with the game. Mouse has a thing for Bob, but has recently fallen for Ray Tracer, the Web Surfer. Mouse is lavender-skinned and brown-eyed, with firey, neon-red hair. She talks with a Southern U.S.A. accent. She carries two katana swords.

Ray Tracer is a Search Engine that we meet in "The Return of the Crimson Binome" He rescues AndrAIa, but makes Matrix jealous. Later, when he enters Mainframe, he meets Mouse, and falls for her. He helps the Mainframers during the restart. He has yellowish-skin and blond hair. His eye color is unknown because he wears goggles over his eyes. He as an Austrailian accent (his voice is provided by Donal Gibson, Mel Gibson's brother!).

Phong is the wise, old sprite that lives in the Principle Office (the City Hall), and hands out advice to anyone that can beat him at his favorite game, Pong. Phong was Mainframe's first COMMAND.COM, and served as secertary to his successor (which wasn't Dot, by-the-way). He is gold, red, and purple, and more robotic in nature.

Frisket is Enzo's dog. He is red and yellow and is very protective of Enzo. He doen't like Bob very much. Frisket thinks Bob smells funny. (Maybe because Bob is from the Super Computer and not Mainframe.) Frisket is very loyal to Enzo (both of them) and AndrAIa.

Hexadecimal is a chaotic virus. She is also a computer witch. She is allied with no one at the start, just doing things on a whim. She is attracted to Bob. In Season 3, Megabyte --her brother-- chains her with a pain collar and makes her use her powers for him. She escapes to Lost Angles, where Bob defragments her mask, and cures her of her insanity. She's still chaotic, but she is now on the Mainframer's side. (She gets an icon, thanks to Bob). Scuzzy is her football-shapped cat/spy.

Hack and Slash (Hack is red, Slash is blue) are Megabyte's robot henchmen. They are not too smart, and eventually (in Season 3) they get blown appart by Hexadecimal during Hex's escape. Phong rebuilds them and reprograms them, giving them icons and the job of bodyguarding Dot. This task, they do suprisingly well.

Megabyte is the main villian. He is constantly trying to take over Mainframe and the Net. When he betrays Bob at the end of Season 2, sending the Guardian into the Web, Megabyte does just that. When Matrix returns, the renagade faces Megabyte in a showdown --and wins. Megabyte escapes into a portal that suppose to lead to the Super Computer, but at the last moment, Mouse turns it into a portal to the Web. Megabyte is pulled into the portal by tenticals, and Ray emerges. A simulation of Megabyte appears in the next episode, to taunt Bob as Bob tries to shut the sectors of Mainframe down so they won't offline by themselves. Bob wins the battle of wills and saves the city.

There are other chracters: Binomes (1 binomes look like three stacked boxes, with one eye, a mouth, arms, and legs. 0 binomes look like little balls with eyes, mouth, legs and arms. Other numbers are also included.); Turbo, the Prime Guardian; Mike, the T.V.; Cecil, the mater'd at Dot's Diner; Captain Gavin Capasitor, the Crimson Binome(a 1); Mr. Christphor ( a 0), the pirate accountant; Princess Bula (a HUGE 1), (not really a princess, but you don't want to say that to her face); Al's Waiter; Al ("WHAT!" is all he says. Both he and his waiter are 1 binomes); and many more.
