FAMILY NOTES: (rn=2)
Leah and Zelig Gutzin emigrated from Indrupka (54*34'N 25*57'E), White
Russia (Belarus), Minsk Province, with their six children, about the
year 1912, to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Leah left behind 3 or 4 sisters and 2 brothers, among them Sara, Dina,
Shepsel, Hashelka, Shime and Mendel. One of the sisters married names
was Klebonov or Klemonov.
First cousins to Leah Vernhoff were Sam, Morris and Harry Elkind of
Toronto (this is not absolutely certain). They have children in Toronto
and Rochester. The Elkind's mother was Leah's Aunt on her fathers
side.
Garfinkles in Toronto were cousins to the children of Leah and Zelig
Gutzin (?).
