Ipoh Juniors won the inaugural Penang Open on September 12 in Kepala Batas.
The KAM Open be held at the Bandar Tun Razak Sports Complex from August 16-17 saw Sivasangkari winning the mens competition. Sri Devi won the women's competition.
Ipoh won the Perak Closed championships on October 19.
Mr Ishwar Angadi has been appointed to coach the national kabaddi teams for the Asian Championships.
Mr G. Krishnan has been elected as the new president of the Perak Kabaddi Association.
