I live in Canada. I am a semi-retired computer specialist, who now tutors seniors in basic computer skills and exploring the internet. My hobbies include painting, photography, music, dogs and horses.
Horses have always been a part of my life. After surviving a serious car accident that left my back in bad condition I found that I could no longer ride a horse that trots. I own a Tennessee Walker named Kari and her colt Sam. Both are black and have the most wonderful temperament. Sam is the third generation of Walkers I have owned. His grand dam Nashua who was the mother of Kari lived to the age of 27 before she was laid to rest. Kari is now 15.
Walkers are noted for their extreme good nature and smooth Cadillac ride, there is absolutely no bounce.
Kari was trained by Kim Pringle of Arden Ontario. Sam is out of her fabulous stallion Trackin On Heir.
At GoldMil Stables in NewMarket Ontario, I volunteered with their program for challenged riders, I firmly believe it is a experience that will enhance your life and those you help forever.
