The Noble Gangrel
In August 1997, Catherine was recognized by David as his Childe. The Lady then welcomed her into the Clan, and soon after, Villon made it official.
Destiny
The powerful Gangrel won't suffer from the newly arrived Assamite war parties: After all, the supernatural resistance of the Bloodline, as well as their ties with the animals around their havens will be more than enough to defend themselves against Obfuscate-hidden and Quietus-powered aggressions.
But the parisian Gangrel seem disgusted by the behaviour of other Camarilla Kindred. With the apparent growing restlessness of the Setites and the general acceptance of ''corrupted Bloodines'' (i.e.: Setites, Tremere and Giovanni), without but a thought for the Cappadocians, and more important, the Salubri, more voices are growing loud enough to ask the Clan if they need the Camarilla at all!
But in the middle of the year 1999, after the discoveries of Xaviar, the Gangrel Justicar, the Gangrel will definitively quit the Camarilla. For Paris, this means the population of Gangrel will decrease (few will know where they will go), and the remaining Gangrel will become more and more insular. The Lady of the Gangrel will unite the Clan behind her, and make them continue their work toward the alliance with the Lupines and the Children of Osiris, and toward the destruction of the Setites and the dark force behind the Corruption of Paris.
Organization
If not for the official ''Althings'' once per year, the Gangrel have no formal reunion date. To the contrary to most other Gangrel, though, the parisian Gangrel meet more and more often, sometimes keeping together the whole night. These ''packs'' make the Camarilla Kindred nervous, as it reminds them of the basic Sabbat structure. The Gangrel don't care: They feel they are threatened by all and everyone, and their pack are but a logical and natural emulation of the wolf social structure.
The Gangrel Elders
Once proud and powerful, the Clan was divided and weakened. But now, under the leading of the Lady, the Clan's power is growing: The Elder is the true force behind this, using their power and growing influence among the Lupines.

The Gangrel Neonates
The Gangrel Neonates have a respect for their Elders that is almost unknown elsewhere: Until recently, the Clan was at loss, and the Neonates suffered from their apparent non-existence among the Kindred. Since the arrival of the Lady, the Clan was reorganized, and now is become once more powerful. The Neonates are usually no match for the Lupines, so they keep themselves in the City, trying to increase their influence there to further the Clan's renewal.

The Gangrel Anarchs
These never really recovered from the Clan's fall. For them, the arrival of the Lady means nothing more than another failed act. They hang with the Anarch, where they can try to further their human principles while trying to forget their animal side crying for the corruption and imminent death of Gaia. The other Gangrel avoid them whenever possible, but they are still considered as part of the Clan: Should one of them be attacked, and another Gangrel be around, then the other would run in defense.

The Felys
Having signed a Treaty between their Lost Bloodline and the Lady of the Gangrel, the Felys are working in Paris to prepare for the coming of more of their Bloodline. But first, the Setites must be removed...
