In the absence of any ruling or writings from the clanleader, Guardian or Pack Leader, Lykoshans may do as they wish, so long as it does not disobey or offend any national law of Lykosha, and so long as it is not dishonourable, and does not offend the spirit of Lykosha. Also: it is always possible to get a ruling on any subject by appealing to the Pack Leader or the Guardian in public, as previously laid down by the law. In all cases, the clanleader is expected to abide by the law laid down by the Pack Leader.
- April 13, 2003 (Revised June 1, 2008): Let it be known that Lykosha hereby enacts, as a FirstLaw, the Clan Establishment Act of 2003, to properly administer the people of our nation . ---by the hand of Jarl Yngvaar Ulfsen.
- October 1, 2005: Let it be known that Lykosha hereby adopts the Law of the Unending Circle of Aid between clan and nation, to properly administer to the needs of its citizens. To wit: Every citizen shall contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of his or her clan, which shall therefore contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of the nation. In this way, both shall take care of one another. If a clanmember works for the clan itself, monies equal to one-half of what might be earned in the world outside of Lykosha shall be made available to that clanmember on request, which may be drawn for the clanmember?s personal use. If their position or duty shall be for the good of another clan, or for an outside interest, he or she shall be paid directly by that entity, in actual monies which shall be divided thusly: one-half for his or her clan, and one-half for him or her self. The clan is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of its properties and land, as well as the food, clothing, and shelter of its members. Clothing and food shall include normal and daily needs, and not optional luxuries, for which each clanmember is responsible him or her self. In addition, every clan shall pay one-half of the monies given to it by its members, to the nation, which shall be used for the upkeep and maintenance of the properties and support of the nation, its programs and goals.
At the end of each year, the nation shall take the monies remaining from the amounts provided to it by each clan, and after having taken a percentage of this remainder for emergencies and investments (such amount to be determined from time to time by the jarl, but which shall not ever exceed 50%), and shall evenly divide it and return such amount to the clans as a whole. Each clan shall then take for emergencies and current investments a percentage of these monies (such amount to be determined by the Althing, and which shall apply to all clans as a whole), and shall also evenly divide the remainder of these monies, returning it to those clan members who are already adult and contributing to the clan.
In all cases, this circle of aid does not apply to the monies made by the clan itself, which are not contributed to the clan by its members, nor to the monies to the nation which are made by the state itself, which shall include taxes paid in the purchase of goods and/or services.---by the hand of Jarl Yngvaar Ulfsen
- September 29, 2005: Let it be known that Lykosha hereby adopts the following tax schedule: For every item or service sold (not rented), the nation shall collect a sales tax in the following amounts: for food items, medical needs, and basic clothing, eight percent (8%), and for all others, sixteen percent (16%), if the purchasing entity is an individual. Individual citizens are invited to keep records of their purchases, and in so doing recoup half their taxes from the state at the end of each calendar year, if they request it in writing. Interest earned by the state during the year shall be kept by the state.
Clans who buy for their members, or for the clan, shall pay no tax for food, clothing and/or medical needs, and eight percent (8%) on all other items or services. At the end of each year, clans are entitled to recoup four percent (4%), upon request in writing. Clans are expected to keep records, and if no request is made, no such monies shall be returned to either clan or individual citizen---by the hand of Yngvaar Ulfsen
- June 20, 2003: Let it be known that Lykosha hereby notifies every nation that its foreign policy will be changing, to more closely resemble the behavior of the wolf-pack.
In the future, Lykosha shall Recognize each and every nation of the world to the same extent that each such nation does itself.
This does, in essence, alter the previous foreign policy to one more imitative of a wolf-pack's attitude towards other neighboring Packs that does not interfere with their Lykosha's business or territories. Those who DO act against or interferes with Lykosha shall be ignored at best and contested until they cease, or until they are bested, or until they are no longer an enemy.
Further, those nations previously "Recognized" by Lykosha shall be elevated to the status of Juarigher, or "sworn-friend." These Lykosha considers friends of the Wolf-Nation, in the same manner of any wolf-pack who welcomes friends into their midst. ---by the hand of Jarl Yngvaar Ulfsen.
- September 11, 2002: Let it be known that Lykosha remembers in sadness the terrible events of this day. ---by the hand of Jarl Yngvaar Ulfsen.
- December 18, 2001: Let it be known that Lykosha hereby Recognises the Holy Empire of Reunion as a sovereign nation. The Empire itself requested this status from Lykosha, without being solicited. I am more than happy to agree. ---by the hand of Jarl Yngvaar Ulfsen.
- December 12, 2001: Let it be known that Lykosha establishes the Luna as the unit of currency native to the nation. the Luna will be divided into four Quarters (for the quarters of the moon), and these will be divided into two bits per Quarter. The Luna will be tied to the value of silver, in honour of the moon, and the value of one Luna will be as the value of one-eighth troy ounce of silver. This value will be determined annually, on the nearest full moon to the Lykoshan founder's day anniversary: October 31st.
Further, for amounts exceeding one Luna, we will tie these to the wolf, our Avatar. Therefore, eight Lunas will make one Ulfin, and it shall take two Ulfins to make one Lupin. Finally, it will take four Lupins to make one Lobo, which shall be the highest denomination of the Lykoshan currency system. ---by the hand of Jarl Yngvaar Ulfsen.
