FirstLaws:
Geneeral Provisions

  1.     Honour is all; balance is the key. Never lie, cheat, break your word, steal or sell your soul (culture) for petty rewards. You are of Lykosha till the day you die or are driven from the Pack.

All members of the Pack must agree to provide for the Pack, or they are not part of it. Methods of this provision may vary, according to the talents of the members and the needs of the Pack. It is to be noted that it is better to offer than be asked, and better to be asked than to be commanded, and better that than to be forced.

All members of the Pack must agree to defend the Pack, their mate/partner and their pups. Methods of this defense may vary, but should not exceed the reach of both combatants (no distance weapons are allowed in a Challenge).

Also: War is not of honor; it allows for distance weapons (cheating), and also it pits many against a few, Therefore, the Pack (Lykosha) detests war as the coward's way, and will not deal with those who do.

As wolves live on the land without leaving a lasting mark, so will the Pack. There is only the Law of the Pack, and the Law of survival, which means that no action which damages the land we live on is of honour, and so is not needed.

As a bitch may be packleader, so it is with the Pack. And since a bitch may kill prey as well as any male, then there is no such thing as "women's work" or "men's work" in the Pack. The only biological thing a woman may do that a man cannot is bear a child. Both parents are important; both are equal. So long as the parents follow the Law of the Pack, only the Jarl may Challenge their parental decisions, yet the child belongs to no one but the Pack; he or she is NOT the property of the parents, nor the Clanleader hirself, save perhaps as Heir.

since no one is perfect, mistakes may be made.   therefore, until there is perfection, the Guardian of the PackLaw may take the jarlship from the current jarl at the point when he or she makes Laws that are in conflict with the Founding Laws of the Pack   In this instance, the Guardian of the PackLaw will then act as Jarl until such time that another who will respect the PackLaw comes forward to be Chosen. This is only so that the integrity of the nation remains intact.

Except for these "First Laws," any law which is deemed dishonourable or which no longer fits the needs of the Pack, may be changed. In a disagreement between two members of the Pack, non-lethal Challenge may ensue (since wolves often do not kill the one that challenges them).
