October 30th		 Rain and overcast 80 bombers appear over Thames Estuary, followed 15 minutes later by another 100. Six RAF sqns intercepted them. In the afternoon 130 enemy planes approached the south coast but only a few got through to London. Bad weather hampered both defenders and attackers.
