What a better way than in this place for you to figure out who I am by surfing my pages, that tell the story about my personality, hobbies, interests, adventures, perceptions, experiences with friends, web and life.
History of Homepage
HERE I FEEL FREE TO TELL YOU WHY, WHEN, HOW I CREATED THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE. LET ME THINK IF I REMEMBER WITH DETAILS. IT ALL STARTED IN MID-1996 WHEN I DECIDED TO CREATE MY HOMEPAGE ON GEOCITIES. (NOTE: GEOCITIES WAS LATER OWNED BY YAHOO!, NOW CALLED YAHOO! GEOCITIES). I SIMPLY CREATED MY ACCOUNT WITH THEM
AND FOLLOW THE TEXT LINKS, CHOSE MY TEMPLATE WITH THEIR SLOW TEMPLATE WIZARD. I CHOSE A WEIRD TEMPLATE BY THE WAY; I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY WHICH ONE. THEY ASKED ME TO CHOOSE A CATEGORY OR GROUP AND I SELECTED THIS ONE:

THEY HAD WEIRD CATEGORIES AND WE, WEBMASTERS, HAD TO REMEMBER LONG, LONG URLS; HOWEVER, UH HA!, LATER Y! GEOCITIES MADE SURE URLS WERE SHORT AND SWEET TO REMEMBER, SO THEY CAME WITH THIS URL ADDRESS WWW.GEOCITIES.COM/YOURACCOUNT

BACK TO TEMPLATE WIZARD: BACK THEN EVERYTIME I LOGGED ON TO EDIT MY HOMEPAGE I HAD TO USE THAT WIZARD BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW HTML IN THE BEGINNING, SO IT WAS VERY SLOW WITH MY 14.4 KPS FAX/MODEM. I HAD TO DRAGGED CLIPART, GRAPHICS TO MY SITE; IT WAS TEDIOUS. DO YOU RECALL THAT? I WAS AFRAID TO USE THE ADVANCED EDITOR 'CAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW HTML 2.0! I DIDN'T KNOW HTML PROGRAMMING. MY BAD.
I was ticked off! The remedy was to purchase MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE 98. Yes! No need to program. WUSIWUG. There was no need to know HTML code! I was kinda complicated at first but I got the hang-of-it. My pages started to grow from a few files to hundreds including graphics. I was amazed. Once I knew Geocities' server, I was easy to FTP all my pages to their server in a few minutes. Sometimes it took 30 minutes to FTP on my 14.4 fax/modem. NICE. However slowly I began to check FrontPage's html code and was getting used to debug the code. Sooner I considered myself an intermediate html programmer since I learned it by myself. THEN Microsoft came with Internet Explorer 4.0 and its DHTML AND webpages began to become more DYNAMIC! It also integrated CSS properties, W3.org standard. (Sorry to say, but it was the beginning of the END FOR NETSCAPE.) I was more profient with this revolution of the world wide web. My website started to look cool as well.
