"Rawhide" was on from 1959 until 1966. I think I watched every show. If I didn't it wasn't my fault. The program was about men herding cattle accross the country, each week they were met by different challenges to get the job done. I would always watch each episode on the edge of my seat. I fell in love with the "cowboy' mystic because of "Rawhide". The main characters were Gil Favor played by Eric Fleming and Rowdy Yates played by Clint Eastwood. Gil Favor was the 'trail boss' and was one of the finest actors (in my book) that ever lived.
