The
face is a central indicator of one's character.
Part of face reading is rooted in Chinese folklore.
Body language, non-verbal communication and psychology
also contribute to face reading. In the Western
world it is called physiognomy while in China
it is known as xiang mian (siang mien) and kan
xiang
Skilled
specialist practitioners diagnose illnesses from
careful observation of the face. By a single look
at the colour of the tongue, a specialist practitioner
can tell what illness the person is suffering
from.
Face
reading is relatively easy. Make sure when you
read someone's face, they are standing in natural
light. This is because, tinted light may affect
the precision of your readings.
The
best kind of face reading is when you can talk
to your subject and ask him or her about the various
things you read in their faces. Don't try to read
your own face if you are a beginner to face reading.
You may tend to be biased and may not like what
you see. You may tend to skew your ideas of certain
readings so that you will appear in the positive
light.
Remember
that the face is a mask which one turns to the
outside world. That mask can show you the character,
personality and life. The face - the central indicator
of one's character.
