Henry Case. (Transported per) Albion 1823. Middlesex 4 Dec 1822 -
7(yrs).
Transported for stealing 19 yards of printed cotton. Gaol report "Been here
before". Hulk report "Orderly". Married. Stated this offence stealing 19 yards
of printed cotton, once for stealing Oil Cloth but Acquited - W & 1ch at No 12
Paradise Street Goswell Street a Mantica (sic) Maker. F & M all at Plough
Court Fetter Lane a cabinet maker.

Andrews, scar under left eye, scar outer corner left eye, scar corner of mouth.

record
135. Henry Case was indicted for stealing, on
the 7th of November, eighteen yards of printed cotton, value 12s, the goods of
William Shepherd Love, and Reece Davis.
William Shepherd Love. I am a linen-draper, in partnership
with Reece Davis, and live in St John Street. This cotton was inside the
doorway; I saw it safe at six o'clock in the evening ; I missed it soon after.
Thompson, the officer brought it to me about half-past six o'clock with the
prisoner.
Thomas Thompson. I am a constable. On the evening of the 7th
of November, I was in St John Street, and saw the prisoner go up to the door,
put his hand in, and take something - he crossed over and dropped it. I took
him into custody.

Guilty. Aged 29
