Since then, Kaitlyn has yet to pursue her dream of teaching. She has been working on her grandparents ranch and as she says "I'm loving it!" Kaitlyn and James work together on the ranch producing fruits and vegetables and selling them to local markets. Kaitlyn hopes to get a job teaching and settle down and make a family.

Although she is not married, she has been seeing her boyfriend DJ for four years. He lives on the ranch and helps with the business. Kaitlyn describes herself as witty, friendly, kind, charming, and fun. She feels that if she applies these into her strategy, it will get her far. "People may over-estimate me because of my looks and my history, but I am willing to prove them all wrong and come out on top!" says Kaitlyn. "I work well with people. I am not an evil bitch from hell, and people will like me and not want to vote me off."
