Moonlight Densetsu (Animetal
Version) - Besides being
the theme song for Dusk, this song was the inspiration for
Anastacia. I mean, can't you see her rocking out on stage to
this?
Light Inside by Aerosmith -
This song is for either
Midori or Sarah. I can just see them wiping the floor with
someone to the beat of this song.
Somewhere Out There by Our Lady
Peace - For my favorite
former Zodiac, this pretty much sums up Daniel's feelings
for Isabel. The purple hair line just made this
perfect.
Zoe Jane by Staind
- Another Daniel song, this
one for him and Daniella. He loves Daniella like a daughter,
even if he gave her to Minako and spent most of her
childhood wandering.
Myth by Delerium -
Saine recommended this for Donovan, and she hit
the nail right on the head with this one. It has a very
ethereal, dreamlike feel, perfect for the woman that haunts
his sleep.
Hikari by Utada Hikaru
- Sapphira of the SMMT BBS
recommended this for Kanemi. Seeing as how Utada Hikaru is
huge in Japan and K-chan is even bigger in the Dusk
Millennium, I thought it was a good choice. Then there's the
fact that it's one of the few J-pop songs I actually
know...
I'm Going Slightly Mad by
Queen - You didn't think
I'd let the Line of Kaiousei have all the crazies, did you?
This one's for Hitomi, who's a few French Fries short of a
Happy Meal in Dusk.
Fallen by
Delerium - That's right,
another Delerium song, this time for Shizuki. She's
returning home from the distant Zero Star, but things have
changed considerably. While she's happy to be back, she
feels the lack of Hyperion's presence constantly.
No, Not Now by Hot Hot
Heat - If this keeps up,
the Dusk soundtrack will be more Canadian than anything
else. ;p But it's got the kind of beat Adair likes to dance
to, and the lyrics just fit. Adair's got so many secrets,
and a complaining child to deal with.
California Girls by The Beach
Boys - I was listening to
this song when I came up with Hotaru, and it stuck. She's
your average California girl/beach bum who just happens to
the the soldier of ruin. I can see her tanning on the beach
with this song in the background.
Dreams by Van
Halen - This is one of my
favorite songs ever, and it's for Eleanor. Besides the whole
obvious dream tie-in, it's upbeat and positive, like Eleanor
herself.
