Education:
Research & Project Work:
PhD Thesis: 'Prevention of set marks in fabrics woven on power looms'. A computer laser linked cloth fell control system was designed to produce a fault free fabric during weaving. This has led to a number of high-quality publications & a patent specification.

BSc Thesis: Concerned with developing two weaving mechanisms related to warp feed and cloth control system for improving control of warp tension. One paper published and patent right obtained.

Project: Analysing the mixing & blending of resources, production systems, quality control, maintenance, layout planning, management & organisation structure in spinning & weaving.

Patents, Research Publications, and Conference Presentations: Please see Appendix A.

Professional Experience:
I have been working with TexTek Business Solutions since 1999 as a consultant; after serving as a Technical Consultant, Narroflex Wentworth Textiles Inc. Prior to this, I worked in various technical positions in the textile industry, taught a graduate level textile course, and conducted research. My interests include textile technology & engineering processes; integrated systems for specific applications; and inter-relationships between design, materials, and multidisciplinary projects leading to process-product optimization. This has led to a number of high-quality publications, patent specifications; and an internet based 'Textile Links' initiative'.
