About me

Hi, I'm Wardof (pronounced /wɔːdɒf/), and I'm a rando artist/musician guy from the UK. I enjoy all music, prog, electronic, noise, emo, heavy metal, grindcore, skramz, and folk in particular, but I want to listen to everything. My favourite bands and artists are The Unicorns, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, Cardiacs, Hood, Talking Heads, 12 RODS, Pinback, Dosh, Boards of Canada, Oneohtrix Point Never, Discordance Axis, The Books, Gay Dad, The Halo Benders, Starflyer 59, and Mojave 3. While my taste is boundless and everchanging, I would say those bands have been the most influential in the years that I've been listening to music on a more initimate level, and I go into that more on my music page.

I also like to draw and try to play around with all mediums, but my go-to tools of the trade are stacks of printer paper, off-brand ink pens, and on the digital side of things, a Wacom tablet I've had since 2011, and Krita (it's free and pretty great). You'll be able to see what comes out of all that here.

Fun facts

• I like to write music, sometimes. I can play the guitar and piano, but a lot of my compositions are pure MIDI. I've never been in a band nor fronted a project in years.
• My favourite colours are blue, green, brown, and yellow.
