There is a lot to do within the Destiny universe. So much so that it would be easier to explain every activity in relation to their inception within the series. And that is what this section of the site serves to do. Without further ado, I’d like to begin.
Patrol Zones: The Earth, The Moon, Venus, Mars
Story: The story of Destiny 1’s Vanilla campaign is one of great mystery. This is where the player will be initially introduced to each faction, and ultimately explore the malicious intentions of the Vex in regards to the Traveller’s wellbeing. This campaign’s story culminates in the Vault of Glass raid.
A staple of the core Vanilla Destiny experience. They are short, 3-man activities that will have participants fulfill various objectives, progressing through an environment until they eventually reach a high priority target which is in need of eliminating.
Where a player may go to engage in competitive player versus player combat. There are a vast variety of gamemodes within the Cruciible, so even if you’re not typically a fan of PvP, there is likely something for you.
Story: Word is an ancient evil stirs below the moon’s crust. You are tasked with investigating these suspicions and putting a stop to any threats that may arise as a result. This campaign’s story culminates in the Crota’s End raid.
Story: The Reef Queen is ready to call in a favour owed for her assistance in Destiny’s vanilla campaign. A Fallen house previously under the command of the Queen rebels under the rule of Skolas, a mad Fallen who believes himself to be the rightful ruler of their race. You are tasked with stopping him in his tracks.
Within this gamemode, a group of guardians will be tasked with eliminating waves of enemies while simultaneously managing objectives that pose a threat to their survival. These activites will culminate in a boss battle with varying modifiers and mechanics.
The Trials of Osiris is an elite player versus player activity. This gamemode rewards successive wins with exceptional treasure, at the cost of games posing a greater and greater challenge with each victory.
Patrol Zones: The Dreadnaught
Story: Oryx, ruler of the hive and father to the hive prince slain during the Crota’s End raid enters our system in pursuit of revenge. He commands a dark army known as the Taken, a twisted army built through bending and twisting the wills of lesser enemy forces. He threatens the destruction of our solar system, and needs to be stopped. This campaign’s story culminates in the King’s Fall raid.
Patrol Zones: Further Expansion of Earth
Story: Lord Saladin, the last surviving Iron Lord, requires assistance regarding the reawakening of an ancient nanotechnology which has been repurposed by the Fallen as a tool of destruction. This technology spreads like a contagion, and if production is allowed to continue, it could pose a serious threat to the Last City. This campaign’s story culminates in the Wrath of the Machine raid.
