1.
To develop Christian professional biologists
equipped with knowledge and skills to become
researchers, pursue graduate studies in Biology
or related fields, join the academe, engage in
business ventures requiring use of biotechniques
who will be well-informed and responsible future
decision makers. 2. To provide quality biology
instruction - to equip non-biology majors with
basic biological principles they can utilize in
their own areas of interest.
3. To develop
active research involvement among the faculty
members of the department of Biological Sciences
to contribute to quality education and the
advancement of Science.
4. To
participate in the national effort towards the
protection and maintenance of the environment by
fostering and supporting activities such as
reforestation and conservation, waste management
and pollution control.
