THE CHOCOBO CLEARING
Welcome to the Chocobo Clearing! This is where all the charming little Chocobos come to play! We have some of the pictures of the more common ones here, and you may even catch a glimpse of live commons on the forest's edge. They tend to hide when visitors are around! Alas, we only have pictures of the rare ones. There are said to be rare Christmas and Fourth of July Chocobos out there in our forests too, but we have never seen them ourselves. See if you can find them! All our feathered friends are very friendly and LOVE tourists and visitors, they just get a little nervous at first! Have fun!
Chocobos, if you are not framiliar with them, are from the game, Final Fantasy. They are very cute and make loveable pets. They like to travel in herds and family groups, called Squits. That is why we have so many here - we adopted one and the rest just sort of tagged along!

Rare Chcobos' Photos!!
All these Chocobos are very rare. Some have been rumored to be around here, though, so keep you eyes peeled! Here are some smapshots of these rare animals!
![]() The Christmas Chocobo! These animals are extremely rare. Only one in every 20 clutches on Chocobo eggs are a Christmas Chocobo. They have a very distinct green, red, and silver coloration. This makes then very easy to see, and thus, very easy to hunt! |
![]() The Snowy Chocobo! These large Chocobos are the biggest of all! The stand almost as tall as a normal person! They look a lot like the White Chocobo - like Alabaster at the top - and are easily mistaken for the more common strain. SNowy Chocobos require extreme cold for their eggs to hatch properly, so very few nests ever survive because the Chocobos cannot make it to a cold enogugh region! |
![]() The Fourth Of July Chocobo! Very rare and red, white, and blue in color, these little guys are the smallest of the chocobos - almost half the size of a normal Chcobo. They are quick and light on their feet, making them hard to catch and hunt. But, they are very rare. Only one in 200 Chocobo eggs is a July Chocobo! And they are born sterile, so they cannot mate! |
